New solutions for frac pump manufacturers, thread turning applications
and seal component machining

2014 – VARGUS Ltd., a world-leading manufacturer of high-quality thread cutting, grooving and deburring tools for the metals and plastics industries, is pleased to launch a new and expanded range of threading solutions for the oil and gas industry.

VARDEX has expanded its thread milling range to now include solutions specifically designed for frac pump manufacturers. Suitable for common thread applications such as 5.5”-6” -4 ABUT and ¾ “-10UNC, new offerings suited to frac pump manufacturers include TMSD V style inserts, TMSD 5/8”V style shell mills, as well as solid carbide deep threading tools from the TM Solid line for full and partial profiles.

The VARDEX line of thread turning solutions for the oil and gas industry was extended to include CNGA, On Edge and Chaser insert styles. These popular insert styles are available in the following commonly used insert profiles: API, API Buttress Casing, API Round Casing and Tubing, American ACME, Stub ACME, VAM and New VAM.
